With over 120,000 flight hours and over 50 years of experience, Keewatin Air LP excels in air medical transport in the Canadian Arctic. We support turboprop and jet operations in central and eastern Arctic, highlighting our dedication to northern Canada.
Our advanced hangar facilities located in Yellowknife, Cambridge Bay, Rankin Inlet, Churchill, Thompson, Iqaluit, and Igloolik are equipped to support 24-hour arctic air medical operations. The interiors of our aircraft have been meticulously designed in-house to ensure functionality, safety, and optimal care provision. Our aircraft are staffed continuously to deliver air medical services to individuals who become ill or injured in the Kivalliq and Baffin Regions of Nunavut and northern Manitoba. Standard operating procedures and medical protocols guide the Air Medical Crew to practice independently. Dedicated physicians support AMC, with online medical control available 24/7.
All KAL aircraft are equipped with advanced medical equipment, supplies, and medications, many of which are not available in the North's remote health centres. This enables us to provide care that isn't accessible in these communities.
